Neville a ginger and white cat has been trapped after being on the run for 10 months. This is not the first time he has been on adventure, in fact this was the third time Neville has been missing. For some reason he always managed to travel to the same part of the town approximately a mile away from his residence.
When Neville first disappeared, he was gone for just a few weeks. It seemed that Neville didn't get along with the new brother who had recently joined the family, prompting him to leave home. Shortly after, Neville was discovered near his old address on the opposite side of town. Fortunately, a woman noticed him residing in a bush in her garden. Neville was then picked up and brought back home.
After a few months, Neville went missing once more, but he was promptly located since he had returned to the same location and was once again residing in the same bush! He was then retrieved and brought back home. The situation calmed down, and Neville was happy, venturing out safely and returning home.
A few months later the family moved to a different part of town. Neville was kept inside for a few months, until he realized that this was his new territory. He had been going outside and coming home for a while, then one day he just disappeared again.
On this occasion, he chose not to return to the previous address but was observed in the vicinity of where he had been discovered on the last two occasions. He was sighted multiple times, prompting his family to hurriedly attempt to retrieve him, only for him to enter survival mode and flee.
Receiving numerous calls reporting sightings of him, I would hurriedly set up traps in an attempt to catch him after he had been seen in various places. However, he always managed to vanish by the time I had the trap ready. This pattern continued for almost 10 months until a woman finally contacted me to inform that he had been frequenting her garden.
After kindly granting permission, this wonderful family permitted me to place a trap at the end of their garden. As I left, I had my doubts about whether he would actually be caught in the trap anytime soon, especially after all the running around he had been doing. To my surprise, just a few hours later, I received a call informing me that he had indeed been caught in the trap!
Finally, he was caught and out of danger, and was brought back home to a very emotional family. They were all gathered in the street, eagerly waiting for his arrival. Bringing him indoors, he quickly adjusted. Neville is now under house arrest for some time, and will only be allowed outside once things have calmed down. Hopefully, this time he will stay home for good, with no more adventures for Neville!!
